Gwanghwamun Handmade Pork Cutlet, Pasta ‘Donobeto’

In the area around Gwanghwamun Station, you can find various restaurants. Especially during lunchtime, you can witness many office workers from the Gwanghwamun area coming out to have their meals.

In the underground shopping area of various buildings in the Gwanghwamun area, you can find various restaurants. Even in the underground floor 1 of the Officia Building, you can see a variety of restaurants.

“Donobeto in Gwanghwamun Officia Building Underground Shopping Area”

Donobeto, which you can meet in the underground shopping area of Gwanghwamun Officia Building, is a restaurant that serves handmade pork cutlets, pasta, and fried rice. It can also be called a Western-style restaurant.

The price range is around 10,000 KRW per menu, making it a place where you can easily have a meal. Additionally, one of the advantages is that you can order an extra serving (called “gopbaegi”). Depending on the menu, for an additional 1,000 to 3,000 KRW, you can have a more generous meal.

“Handmade Pork Cutlet”

On this day, they had run out of pasta ingredients, so I couldn’t order the pasta menu. As an alternative, I ordered the pork cutlet with an extra serving. When you order the pork cutlet with an extra serving, an additional 3,000 KRW is added, making it a total of 13,000 KRW.

At Donobeto, when you sit down, three basic side dishes are provided: cabbage salad, kimchi, and homemade pickles.

After a short wait, the main menu arrives. Perhaps because I ordered the pork cutlet with an extra serving, it came out quite generously. Even without ordering an extra serving, it seems like a decent amount of food is served. However, when you order an extra serving, it appears that an even larger portion is provided.

There were three pieces of pork cutlet, and it seems like two pieces come as a standard serving, with an extra piece added due to the extra serving.

Overall, it’s a place where you can have a decent meal, and it’s a. Western-style restaurant that you can find in the underground floor of the Officia Building. Since it’s a restaurant located in an underground shopping area, the atmosphere of the restaurant is not particularly fancy.
