The Gwanghwamun area can be considered one of Seoul’s representative office-dense areas. Thanks to this, during lunchtime, you can often see numerous office workers looking to grab a meal in the area.

In the Gwanghwamun area, you can find restaurants in the underground shopping areas of large buildings. Even in the Sejong Building’s underground shopping area, you can often find a variety of restaurants, ranging from places serving daily changing set menus to a diverse range of eateries.

“Yummy” is also a restaurant located in the Sejong Building’s underground shopping area in Gwanghwamun. Normally, “Yummy” is spelled as “Yummy,” but here it is written as “Yummy.”

The flagship menu offered here is Korean cuisine. They serve authentic Korean dishes, including fermented soybean paste stew, beef and vegetable bibimbap, grilled beltfish, and traditional spicy beef soup.

During this visit, I ordered the grilled beltfish, which is a menu not commonly seen in other restaurants. The grilled beltfish is priced at 9,000 KRW per serving, and you can order it starting from a minimum of two servings.

Upon ordering, you are served with a variety of side dishes including kimchi and perilla leaf wraps. After a short wait, you can enjoy a delicious meal featuring the main menu item, “Grilled Beltfish.”

While the taste of the grilled beltfish was decent, I found the portion size to be lacking, which was disappointing. Even though it was supposed to be a serving for two, there were only a few beltfish, making it feel like there wasn’t enough.

The taste itself was not bad, but due to the small portion size, it left me feeling a bit unsatisfied. It’s a place worth visiting when you’re in the Gwanghwamun area and craving grilled beltfish.
