E-Mart & Electromart at Seoul’s Wangsimni Station

E-Mart and Electromart are large-scale supermarkets operated by the Shinsegae Group. They marked the beginning of large-scale distribution stores in South Korea when the first store, Changdong Branch, was opened in Changdong, Dobong-gu, Seoul on November 12, 1993. Now, these marts can be found throughout the country.

At Wangsimni Station in Seoul, within the Enter Six building, you can find both E-Mart and Electromart. They are conveniently located adjacent to Wangsimni Station, making them easily accessible.

The E-Mart and Electromart at Wangsimni are similar to other branches and offer a wide range of products. However, they might feel slightly larger in scale. In particular, Electromart gives the impression of utilizing space more generously.

Especially noteworthy is the “Ace Store,” which sells Apple products and occupies a notably spacious area.

Electromart is one of E-Mart’s specialized branches. It focuses on electronic devices and is represented by its mascot, Electroman. The store caters to male preferences, featuring products such as drones and travel goods.

“E-Mart”

E-Mart at Wangsimni is comparable to other E-Mart branches. It occupies two floors, and one notable difference from other E-Mart branches is the absence of a food court. This might be because Enter Six operates a separate food court on the 4th floor.

Perhaps, E-Mart decided not to provide a food court, as Enter Six manages its own food court on a different floor.
