Hansot Dosirak is the largest bento box manufacturer in South Korea, founded in 1993, and operates a chain of stores.

In 2011, it was awarded the grand prize in the Bento Specialty Store category at Korea’s Most Loved Brands Awards. Currently, it holds the number one position in the bento box industry in the country, with virtually no competitors.

Although the prices are on the lower side, the quality is not bad, making it a good option for cost-effective meals.

You can also find Hansot Dosirak in Yeonhui-dong, Seoul. It is located at the entrance of Yeonhui-dong, making it easy to find as it is situated on the main road. However, the store is quite small, and it might have been easier to locate if it were on a side street.

While some Hansot stores offer dine-in options, the Yeonhui-dong branch is too small for that. It is strictly for takeout only.

Nevertheless, Hansot Dosirak is affordable, making it convenient to order a bento box on your way home from work and eat at home. It’s a good option for a simple meal.
