“Seoul Mia Station – Yeonan Sikdang Mia Station Branch”

“Yeonan Sikdang” is a franchise restaurant specializing in dishes made from seafood. It quickly became a trend, with over 160 branches opening just nine months after its brand launch.

One of the dishes that made Yeonan Sikdang famous is the “Kkomak Bibimbap” (spicy marinated cockles mixed rice). This menu item gained popularity among the public, contributing to the increased brand value. Yeonan Sikdang can now be found throughout South Korea and stands out as a unique franchise restaurant focusing on seafood-based Korean cuisine.

“Seoul Mia Station, Yeonan Sikdang Mia Station Branch”

I happened to be near Mia Station unexpectedly. It’s not a place I would typically visit, but I stopped by for a business meeting. After the meeting, it was lunchtime, so I naturally decided to have lunch at a nearby restaurant. Yeonan Sikdang caught my eye. As a restaurant specializing in seafood-based dishes, it seemed like a unique franchise offering a decent meal at a reasonable price.

“A Casual Atmosphere Restaurant”

Yeonan Sikdang Mia Station Branch, located near Mia Station, has a casual atmosphere. It’s neither too large nor too small—a restaurant of just the right size. On this day, after contemplating what to eat, I ordered the seafood stew and the spicy hot pot with roe. While Kkomak Bibimbap is famous, I wanted to try a dish with a hearty broth.

“Spicy Hot Pot with Roe: KRW 12,000, Seafood Stew: KRW 13,000”

The spicy hot pot with roe and the seafood stew were reasonably priced at KRW 12,000 and KRW 13,000, respectively, considering the recent increase in prices. The food was decent; one of the advantages of visiting a franchise restaurant is the opportunity to enjoy reasonably tasty dishes at a moderate price. It might not be incredibly delicious, but the ability to eat good food at a fair price is a positive aspect of such establishments.

“The restaurant is located not far from Mia Station on Line 4. It’s situated near Exit 5 of Mia Station, making it easy to find as it’s located along the main road.
