Seoul Gwanghwamun Takeout Specialty “Gray Coffee”

In the Gwanghwamun area of Seoul, you can find a variety of cafes, large and small. From franchise cafes like Starbucks to independently operated small cafes, there are also several cafes focused solely on takeout.

Located west of Gwanghwamun Square, on the 1st floor of Morning 3-danji Office-tel in Gyeonghuigung, you’ll find small takeout specialty cafes, including “Gray Coffee.”

“Small Takeout Specialty Cafe, Cafe Gray”

Gray Cafe is relatively small in size. Therefore, unlike other cafes, there’s no space to order coffee and sit down for a chat. Some standing tables may be available outside the store for spending time, but there’s no indoor seating typical of other cafes. However, due to its small size, it’s a popular spot because coffee prices are affordable.

“Affordable Coffee with Good Value at Gray Cafe”

At Gray Cafe, you can enjoy coffee at affordable prices. For the cheapest Americano, you can choose between “Dark Brown Blend” and “Purple Blend,” both priced at only 2,000 won.

Ordering an Americano at Starbucks costs around 4,500 won, so here you can enjoy a cup of coffee for less than half the price of Starbucks. While it lacks seating like Starbucks, it’s a decent place to visit for coffee.

Other menu items are also reasonably priced, with cafe lattes available for 3,000 won. If you’re looking for affordable coffee in the Gwanghwamun area, it’s worth a visit.
