Typically, Kopitiams offer local beverages like coffee and tea, as well as local dishes such as toast and egg-based dishes.

After returning from a trip to Singapore, there were times when I wanted to taste Singaporean food in Korea, and I wish I had known about this place back then. Of course, it’s never too late.

At Kopitiam, you can place your order through a kiosk. Not too long ago, you couldn’t find a kiosk, but when I visited recently, I saw that they have incorporated one. Previously, you would have to order directly at the counter, but now you can skip that process.
“An Interior Adorned with a Singaporean Café Vibe”
Since it represents a Singaporean or Malaysian-style café, the café’s atmosphere naturally exudes a feeling reminiscent of local cafes in Singapore. The interior even brings to mind cafes where I spent time during a brief stop in Singapore.
The space is quite roomy, allowing a large number of people to gather at once. In the center, you’ll find long tables reminiscent of conference tables, and by the window, there are comfortable sofa seats.
The seating opposite the window exudes a pub-like atmosphere, giving the impression that various places have been combined into one. Thanks to this, it feels like you can use the space for various purposes.
“Outdoor Seating Available”
You can also find seating outdoors at Kopitiam. They make good use of the relatively spacious outdoor area, allowing you to spend time enjoying the weather on pleasant days. However, due to Korea’s long winters and summers, fully utilizing this space might be a bit challenging, which is a bit disappointing.
Kopitiam, a Singaporean-style café you can find in Seochon Village near Gyeongbokgung Palace. It’s a great place to visit after reminiscing about your trip to Singapore or to experience Singaporean cuisine before your trip.
