At Incheon Cheongna International City’s “Riverside Cruise Mall,” you can find a variety of restaurants. While there are still some vacant spaces due to ongoing occupancy, there are also places with a charming atmosphere.
Dimtao, which I visited this time, is a restaurant located in the underground mall of Cheongna International City known for serving “Hong Kong cuisine.”
“Incheon Cheongna: Dimtao, Hong Kong Restaurant”
Dimtao is a franchise restaurant with a Hong Kong chef. It can be found all over South Korea, and in Incheon, you can find it in Cheongna International City. It’s a place where a Hong Kong cuisine master with over 25 years of experience in various locations.
“Clean and Cozy Interior”
Upon entering, the clean and cozy atmosphere of the store immediately catches your eye. The building itself is newly constructed, exuding a neat atmosphere overall. Since the restaurant is located by the waterfront park, you can enjoy your meal while taking in the riverside view.
“Ordering through Touch Screens at Each Table”
The menu is divided into categories like “Dim Sum, Cheung Fan, Dishes, Drinks, Beverages,” including dishes like Wonton Noodles, Spicy Wonton Noodles, Wonton, Fried Rice, Fried Eggplant, and more. After taking a seat, you can place your order through the touch screen provided at each table. The payment system allows for easy use, as you can settle the bill all at once.
On this day, three of us visited. The menu we ordered included Dim Sum, Cheung Fan, Wonton, Wonton Noodles, and Fried Rice. Every dish turned out to be even more delicious than expected, which pleasantly surprised us.
Especially, the “Cheung Fan” was a dish I tried for the first time. Its chewy texture left a lasting impression, making it a dish I would think of when it comes to Hong Kong cuisine.
The Wonton and Fried Rice were also flavors I had anticipated and hoped for, making this restaurant the best among the Hong Kong restaurants I have tried in Korea.
“Dimtao in Busan and Incheon Cheongna”
Dimtao currently has its main branch in Haeundae-gil, Busan, and has opened its second branch in Samjeong Tower in Seomyeon. Additionally, you can find the third branch in Incheon Cheongna International City.
As it is currently only a franchise with three locations in Korea, it may not be easy to find, but the taste is truly impressive. It’s a restaurant where you can experience food closest to Hong Kong cuisine without actually going to Hong Kong.
