Billy Angel is a cake and dessert specialty brand. In 2022, Billy Angel celebrated its 10th anniversary with a complete rebranding. Through this rebranding, they introduced a new logo, watermark, main color, and philosophy.

To mark this rebranding, the existing Billy Angel located in the Gwanghwamun Officia Building was transformed into “Billy Angel Select.”

With the transformation into Billy Angel Select, the existing Billy Angel on the first floor of the Gwanghwamun Officia Building underwent changes. While it used to operate as a small-scale cafe, it has now expanded to utilize the rear space. As a result, the space has increased by about 2-3 times compared to before.

Billy Angel’s Gwanghwamun branch is known for its high ceiling. It boasts a ceiling height equivalent to the 2nd or 3rd floor of a regular building, providing an open and spacious atmosphere.

Furthermore, the entire space is covered in glass, allowing for a clear view from inside to outside. With its high ceiling, ample space, and glass walls, it provides an even greater sense of openness, making it a cafe where you can feel free and relaxed.

Taking advantage of this layout, they have also provided seating where you can indulge in the recent trend of “spacing out.” There are seats where you can comfortably gaze out the window, making it a pleasant place to spend time simply gazing at the weather and people passing by.

Billy Angel primarily focuses on cakes and desserts. This means you can find various types of slice cakes at the store. The prices range from about 7,000 to 10,000 KRW, allowing you to enjoy slice cakes at various price points.

You can also order coffee, and the pricing is relatively similar to other typical cafes, making it a reasonable choice.

The Gwanghwamun branch of Billy Angel is particularly appealing due to its spaciousness. Thanks to this, even during busy hours, it doesn’t seem like there will be a shortage of seating.
