“Emart & Electromart” at Seoul Guro Digital Complex

Emart and Electromart are large-scale marts operated by the Shinsegae Group. They marked the beginning of large-scale distribution stores in South Korea when the first store, Changdong Branch, opened in Changdong, Dobong-gu, Seoul on November 12, 1993. Now, they have become marts that can be found all over the country.

While Emart initially started with a focus on selling daily necessities, it has gradually transformed into a mall-like format. In addition, Electromart, one of the specialized stores within Emart, is trending and can be found in various Emart locations, including Emart Guro Branch.

“Guro Digital Complex, Emart & Electromart in Seoul”

Electromart is one of Emart’s specialized stores. It is an electronics store with Electroman as its mascot, emphasizing products catering to men’s preferences, such as drones and travel accessories.

From computer peripherals like Gundam models, figures, 3D printers, computers, keyboards, and mice, to mobile phones and home appliances, you can find a wide variety of electronic devices here.

Emart Guro Branch is conveniently located near Guro Digital Complex Station. When you exit from Exit 3 of Guro Digital Complex Station, you can see the Emart building in the distance. However, it’s not directly accessible in a straight line, so you’ll need to walk for about 10-15 minutes to reach it.

Electromart is located on the 2nd floor of Emart. As it’s an “Electromart” in Guro Digital Complex, it seemed like it would be large in scale, but it’s relatively small, which may be a bit disappointing.

Stores like Ace Store and Samsung are located within Electromart. Ace Store allows you to directly experience and handle Apple products, similar to an Apple Store.

Samsung is also present, allowing you to physically interact with and, if needed, purchase products like Galaxy Z Flip and Fold.

This large mart located in Guro Digital Complex, where many companies are concentrated, takes responsibility for the shopping needs of residents living in the Guro area. With Electromart also present, it’s a great place to visit when purchasing electronic products.
