“Kinfukugen(金福源)” Chinese Restaurant in Tokyo, Japan.

I stayed at “9 Hours Otemachi-Imperial Palace” for the first night in this Tokyo Travel. It was located in a very quiet neighbourhood. I wanted to have dinner around this place. However, I was able to find only one restaurant open at that time.

“Kinfukugen(金福源), Chinese Restaurant in Japan.”

Kinfukugen is Chinese restaurant in Japan. Because it was in Japan, I could say that it is a “Chinese-Japanese restaurant”. They have a diverse cuisine on the menu. However, they did not have a menu in English or other languages, but Chinese and Japanese.

At that time I was barely able to speak and understand Japanese language, it was very hard to order the food.

“Quite Random dishes with the picture on the menu, and little communication.”

We ordered food with very limited information such as pictures on the menu, and little communication with the waiter there. He was able to speak Chinese and Japanese, however, I only was able to understand “Chicken, Beef, Pork” kind of words at that time.

With the limited information we ordered food, like dumpling, noodles and chicken dish.

“Chicken Gizzards dish”

We went for Chicken dish, however, never expected that it was Chicken Gizzards dish. The waiter just said that it was chicken, but never mentioned what part of the chicken.

The dish was not that satisfied because none of us liked chicken gizzards at that time. However, it was quite fun experience.

The other dishes were all good enough to enjoy. Especially the noodle dish, we ordered was quite great.
