“Radio Kaikan” in Akihabara, Tokyo

Akihabara is so called sacred place for subculture also known as Otaku. Here, you can find lots of shops and stores selling products related to Animation and Manga.

Even big buildings only show the products about animation and manga here. “Radio Kaikan” is one of the example of those buildings.

The Akihabara Radio Kaikan is a commercial building in Tokyo and is one of the most well-known landmarks in the Akihabara district. The recent building was built in 2014 after the old building was demolished in 2011. The building is 46.5 m high, is ten levels from the ground floor and has two basement levels.

“Full of various Figures and Otaku Products in the building.”

In the building, you can see various products about Animation and Manga. Here, you can find lots of different types of “Figurines”. Each floor has a bit of slightly different theme and exhibits figures.

Not only figures, but also other products such as posters, dolls, cards, cars, and military stuffs are on display as well. But, here the main product could be said “Figures” because you can find lots of slightly different themed figures on each floor.

“A Perfect Place to Lose time for those who love Japanese Animation and Manga”

This could be said that the perfect place for those who love Japanese subculture. At that time I visited here, I was not much know of Japanese Animation and Manga, I was overwhelmed when I encountered the products here and there.

I was quite impressed by the diversity of the products displayed on each floor. Personally, I was not that very much into Japanese subculture, however, I have spent a lot of time to take pictures one by one without knowing the time passed.

If you are a big fan of Japanese Animation culture, you might love this place, and this place is the must go place for you.
