“Pubs Alley” Hozenji Yokocho, Osaka, Japan

Hozenji Yokocho is a small alley around Hozenji. Hozenji is a small temple. In the temple, you can find a small Buddha statute. However, this Buddha statue is full of moss.

In the past, a poor man tried to make a wish to Buddhism, but he did have an offering to give, thus, he though that God would like it, if he gives cool water in hot weather.

Since then, the other people also started making a wish after spraying the water. Then it is covered full of moss.

Here, in the alley, you can find old Japanese style pubs and restaurants. You can feel the old Japanese vibes.
